Coarse
The shape and size of a salt grain determine the flavor impact. That is why JOZO salt is crystallized in various sizes. JOZO 04 salt has courser, angular grains, which give off a lot more taste straight away because of their shape.
Gourmet salt
JOZO Gourmet & mill salt is one of the purest types of salt in the world. The salt is sourced in the Netherlands and Denmark from underground deposits created millions of years ago by the evaporation of the Zechstein Sea.
Finishing
Why do you need finishing salt in your kitchen? Our salt collection consists of unrefined, all-natural salts that enhance the flavor of your favorite dishes — just a pinch can add voice and texture. When applied to your dishes as a finishing touch, salt will stand out more as an individual ingredient and -depending on the size of the grind- provide a more subtle taste or an excellent crunch.

Focaccia
1. Mix both types of flour together in a large bowl, together with a tablespoon of JOZO 03 fine pure salt and make a hollow in the middle. Sprinkle the fine salt on the edges and the yeast in the middle of the hollow. Pour the water into the hollow onto the yeast. Stir the mixture.
2. Dust a clean work surface with flour and tip the mixture onto it. Knead the dough for approx. 10 minutes.
3. Grease a large, clean mixing bowl with a little olive oil and place the dough in it. Dust with some more flour, cover with a clean tea-towel and leave to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, until approximately doubled in volu...
