JOZO Light salt extra fine contains at least 70% less sodium than normal table salt and contains potassium which further contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and muscles. The extra fine grains of JOZO 02 are ideal for fresh pasta dough or to sprinkle on top of an egg.
The shape and size of a salt grain determine the flavor impact. That is why JOZO salt is crystallized in various sizes. JOZO 02 extra fine consists of very small granules, which ensure a uniform salt taste.
JOZO Light salt is one of the purest types of salt in the world. The salt is sourced in the Netherlands and Denmark from underground deposits created millions of years ago by the evaporation of the Zechstein Sea. Good for your health – potassium and a reduced consumption of sodium contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure. Potassium further contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and muscles. JOZO contains at least 70% less sodium than normal table salt. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are recommended.
Preparing & cooking
Salt is better and more evenly absorbed by the ingredients if added during the cooking and preparation process. This is particularly true for ingredients that have been carefully assembled; you can't always just stir things up! Some foods also take a while for flavors to soak through. If you add salt only at the table, the liquid will benefit, but the ingredients will generally taste bland, like they were unsalted.

• 250 g carrots (or rainbow carrots)

• 300 g beetroot (yellow, red or Chioggia beet)
• 300 g pumpkin
• 200 g Romanesco cauliflower
• 2 red onions
