Mariager
In Mariager in Denmark is northern Europe's largest rock salt deposit. Our facility has been here since 1966 and is Scandinavia's largest salt producer.
There are 150 employees who together produce 600 000 tonnes of salt a year. Of these, about 300 000 tonnes of bulk salt, 100 000 tonnes of roads with salts and 200 000 tonnes of packed salt. The salt we use in Sweden will in large part from here. The plant in Mariager is quality certified according to ISO 9001, HACCP and Responsible Care and environmentally certified according to ISO14001.
